Preventing Another Stroke

Assalamualaikum and very good evening to all..how are you?i hope everyone is in good health and in a good shape..hi everyone..this is Azie, writing from Jinjang, KL...it's been a month since i've transferred from Sabah..the weather is not so good..the haze is worsening and also we have this water rations since yesterday.. life is tough but i think i can cope with it quite well..haha..just to senangkan hati sendiri.. Okay, enough with the brief introduction or more to brief whining, now let's talk about this one serious matter..i took this article from Book Of Hope, National Stroke Association..this article is quite good and i hope you it might gives us lots of info especially for those who suffering from stroke or those who have relatives who suffering from stroke..
After stroke, survivors tend to focus on rehabilitation and recovery. But, preventing another (or recurrent) stroke is also a key concern. Of the 795000 Americans who have a stroke each year, 5 or 14 percent will have a second stroke within one year. Within five years, a stroke will recur in 24 percent of women and 42 percent of men.

Everyone has some stroke risk. But, there are two types of stroke risk factors. One type you can't control. The other one you can. TO BE CON'T.... :)
